ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking qualified and experienced music tutors to join our extra-curricular Music Department in 2026 for the following instruments:
Violin/Viola
Trumpet
These are casual positions that will initially involve approximately 4-5 hours per week of one-on-one tuition and/ some Junior school group lessons. There is potential for additional hours over time due to growth in the program. The confirmed number and spread of hours will be determined in discussion with successful applicants based on availability.
Desired Skills and Experience
ABOUT YOU
The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate their ability to:
Teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced students in either Violin/Viola or Trumpet.
Deliver engaging individual and group lessons.
Teach in our Beginner Band Program (Trumpet).
Teach in our Junior Strings Program (Violin/Viola).
Conduct string ensembles (Violin/Viola).
Develop students’ musical understanding through the study of repertoire and theory.
Support the objectives of the School's extra-curricular music program.
Maintain effective communication and administrative practices.
