ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and structured lessons using prepared content and daily lesson plans for short-term Study Tour and vacation programs. These programs cater to international student groups from mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Japan, and focus on immersive English language learning and cultural exchange.
Adapt the content to suit the English level of the class.
Include fun and engaging English Language activities.
Supervise activities run by external providers
Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for international students, promoting cultural exchange and understanding.
Ensuring that the values and Anglican ethos of the School are upheld.
Additional Responsibilities (as required)
Ensure student attendance and punctuality are accurately recorded in accordance with school policy.
Closely monitor student progress and wellbeing, informing academic managers as required.
Input into course design and curriculum development for our Study Tour teaching modules as required.
Liaising with staff as required to communicate student issues.

Qualifications and requirements:
Must have teaching experience with primary and secondary school-age international students.
Must hold a TESOL Qualification and be eligible for QCT registration
Must hold a Queensland Blue Card or Exemption Card.
Basic experience using the online teaching platform Microsoft Teams video conferencing tools is desirable.
Must be willing to complete mandatory child protection training.
