ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
This is the perfect opportunity for Sports Coaches to join a wonderful school community in 2026.
Sport is a huge part of St Paul’s culture, with students encouraged to participate across a wide range of sports, making use of the School’s first-class facilities.
We have opportunities for committed and enthusiastic Coaches to join the St Paul's Sports Program across Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Cross Country, Football, Hockey, Netball, Rugby, Swimming, Tennis, Touch Football and Volleyball. The responsibilities will include:
Administer coaching for the appointed team, ensuring smooth organisation of training and games.
Maintain duty of care for all team members during training sessions and competitions.
Develop and communicate training schedules, game times, and venues to the team and Head of Sport.
Ensure students are collected safely after all trainings and games.
Manage team equipment and uniforms, ensuring return and correct attire at all times.
Uphold the School’s Code of Conduct and coaching philosophy, taking action when required.
Oversee recognition processes, including Colour Point team lists, awards, and celebrations.
Assist in incident reporting and follow-up, including wet weather procedures.
Encourage adherence to JTAS and TAS rules, including codes of conduct.
Communicate appropriately with parents and refer any concerns to the Heads of Sport.
Understand and follow the School’s Social Media guidelines.
Desired Skills and Experience
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate that you have the following skills and qualifications.
Appropriate coaching qualifications and experience.
Ability to assist in the development of skills and ensure students reach their full sporting potential.
A current Working with Children Blue Card.
First Aid certification, including CPR.
