Job Description

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

This position is primarily responsible for providing high-level administrative assistance and support to the Junior School leadership team.

  • Initiate and prioritise activities as required to support the work of the Director of Junior School and Head of Studies while maintaining a high level of confidentiality, discretion and judgement.
  • Ensure Junior School's Policies are current and accessible.
  • Administer processes for different testing (ICAS, PAT, and NAPLAN), including documentation and logistics.
  • Support Excursions and Incursions planning and administration.
  • Support events including Assemblies, Extra-Curricular Assembly, Celebration of Achievement (COA), and general school events.
  • Manage parent correspondence, including notices, updates, and follow-ups.
  • Complete and file Incident Reports.
  • Record and monitor First Aid administered. 

Desired Skills and Experience

ABOUT YOU:

  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate (for supervising Junior School Infirmary).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience using The Alpha School System (TASS) would be an advantage.
  • Experience working in a School setting would be an advantage.
  • Have completed an Associate Diploma/Diploma in Business or a relevant qualification.
